Farming Module on New App to Go Live

EasyFi Network is very happy to inform our community that our security consultant Halborn Security has successfully conducted a thorough audit of the Protocol’s Farming Smart contracts. This includes both the Dual Farming and the Liquidity Farming sub-modules as well.

This audit marks the completion of another step in our plan for a full protocol audit which we shall be conducting in a phased manner prior to a full reinstatement of our protocol.

This also comes within days of our going live on our staking module after Halborn completed the audits. Users may note that we had recently announced the completion of an audit on our staking smart contracts and had gone live with a mega staking program for EZ and EZ (IOU) holders.

Audit Objectives

This audit has been conducted in the most thorough manner covering all the the following objectives:

  • It ensures that the smart contract functions related to our farming modules are primed to work as designed for.
  • The audit also tried to identify potential security issues such as hacks, attacks, and other external threats related to smart contract & inter-contract functions
  • The entire set of smart contracts needed to be validated for extended safety and correctness.
  • Halborn security has provided us with a full audit report and all relevant penetration testing conducted
  • Halborn has also provided recommendations for corrective and risk mitigation actions.

Summary of Farming Smart Contracts Audit

As informed in the previous article on this subject, we had initiated a complete 360° analysis of all our smart contracts deployed on all three networks we are currently on. The Farming smart contract audits covered the following:

  1. Analysis of the Codes: The Halborn team conducted a full scale study of all the codes and data structures related to the farming smart contracts to check for best practices and quality standards implemented by EasyFi for development and earmarked for this industry.
  2. Vulnerability assessment: The security team conducted a full penetration testing to check for any vulnerabilities and errors. Halborn performed a combination of manual and automated security testing with the help of some of the best security tools in the business.
  3. Risk Analysis: We were guided by security best practices to come up with a risk assessment strategy and used established techniques for a protocol-wide risk-scale based analysis for any vulnerability and the impact they may cause during the execution of those contracts.
